Amtrak considered a Class I for this list?
[edit]Are we going to consider Amtrak a class I RR and list it on this list? According to AAR it's a Class I but I wasn't sure if we left Amtrak off for a reason. (They DO own the NEC). Rhallanger 20:08, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
Size of each class I

What's the point of this page?
[edit]It would definitely be useful to have a list of all railroads that have been Class I, something I've been working on, but what's this supposed to be? I can see the use of a bunch of "capsule histories" of the companies, but concentrating on the relationships with other companies rather than a rehash of the main article. --NE2 23:30, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
More information
[edit]I suggest we turn this into a sortable table to give information on the railroads, who owns them, where they are located, and mileage. Stidmatt (talk) 23:32, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
