C160 Manual Transmission

Loss of information
[edit]I know it was unsourced and not notable according to y'all, but all you people accomplished by deleting articles and adding circular redirects is removing information from the internet. Good job. You've only made it harder for the people that care to find out what they want to know. I lament the loss. What was the point of targeting a quiet little webpage with information so specific that it was only useful to the people that were seeking it out? No one else would care to look twice at it. No one is relying on this information to be 100% accurate. The world is not better for deleting this article.
After you argue about what Wikipedia is and what it's for and all of that, the simple truth remains: you've taken away useful knowledge, not protected it.
I mean at the very least include the gear ratios in the redirect article. Now I have to go dig through edits to find the info.2603:8081:4600:AC47:F1B3:EB3B:E48D:CE76 (talk) 03:46, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
In fact, the way you people talk on these pages and the way 12DionneJ was treated is reason enough for me to cancel my recurring donation to wikipedia. Y'all are a bunch of fucking winners. Oops a personal attack. 2603:8081:4600:AC47:F1B3:EB3B:E48D:CE76 (talk) 04:04, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Also pulling my donation. What information is "notable" is determined by demand and consumption, not editors. 73.109.138.42 (talk) 01:06, 5 September 2024 (UTC)
Where did all the useful information go?
[edit]The Toyota manual transmission page was a repository for useful information. What happened to it? Did the page move? Why are all the links broken? I used this page to piece together a C50 from 1986 with a longer 5th out of a 2005 corolla. Now I'm onto other projects. Is this info stored on another website? Someone please restore this page to it's former glory. Jonathartur (talk) 04:03, 11 September 2024 (UTC)
