Confusion between TV Series and Cinema Movies

In the Police Squad episodes, Frank Drebin is not a foolish police detective, nor does he cause a lot of problems that he is entirely oblivious to. That description is apt in the Naked Gun movie versions where his character has been modified as said. In the 6 episode series he has a somewhat cool and capable persona. This persona is critical to the distinctive comedic style seen in the TV episodes, and not seen in the cinema movie versions; which are more slapstick.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.145.37.239 (talk) 17:25, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
