This article still needs a lot of expansion
This article still needs a lot of expansion. It still needs more info on the characters in the various manga, more characters from the anime, more info on the characters who play major roles in Pokémon Chronicles, and more info from the Hoenn saga of the anime. I don't know who's a minor one-off character and who's an important recurring character from any of those, so my placement in Recurring and Minor is just a guess.
Just a note: I've consciously not placed any of the Pokémon Chronicles main characters in the Main Characters section because I was under the impression that it was a side-story to the main anime, and all of the characters are recurring characters from the main anime. If Pokémon Chronicles has a proper protagonist, could someone please place that character in the proper section? - A Man In Black (Talk | Contribs) 19:06, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
To do:
- Incorporate the characters from the Pokémon Colosseum article
- Incorporate the characters from the Magical Pokémon Journey article
- Include all of the Gym Leaders, including the Kanto leaders and the leaders at List of Johto Gym Leaders amd List of Hoenn Gym Leaders
- Describe any undescribed characters

Can someone mention the fact that Giovanni's son is the rival in Gold and Silver? A Team Rocket member reveals this in FireRed and LeafGreen and mentions a "red-haired" kid of some sort. i dont know exactly what he said, but i know that this is true 3-13-2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.206.128.33 (talk) 18:06, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Deletion
I deleted the "Unshowen Characters" section because it didn't have any links.
And made no sense...
Discuss it's worth here. --Highway 22:23, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
hazel from MPJ doesn't count. MPJ doesn't count as real pokemon.
Can we have ?
Can we have a place to talk about the champions, their line ups in more material?? --194.81.46.167 12:55, 27 January 2006 (UTC)
- This article is not the place to go into detail about any characters. Additionally, Wikipedia isn't the place to go into a great deal of detail about their lineups (particularly movesets and levels and strategies); for that, try Wikibooks or GameFAQs. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 17:50, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Question
Could I write up information on Ash from the 'Electric Tale of Pikachu' manga series? Thing is, the Ash from the series is very different from the Anime version of Ash. Though, I guess it would be confusing to have two separate sections for two Ashs. Any thought? User talk:Super_Staff 23:17, 27 September 2006 I supose you could have one artical were you compare the two ashes...--Pika17 (talk) 13:41, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Harley
Is it neccesary to say that Harley is a 'homosexuel'? I would rv it as vandalism, but I'm not sure if I want to clear any other info that had been added since then. UberVash 21:35, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Ther's no proof, though that's probably the point the writers were trying to make. Harley was most likely created as a jab at Western homosexual stereotypes.
- That depends on whether you consider him fliritng with Brock in Harley Rides Again to be proof. It doesn't really affect things in the show much so it doesn't have to be in there unless you want to add that he is a stereotype. --Sonic Mew 11:46, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm not being homophobic, but based on Harley's actions, behavior, attire and "air", it could be said that Harley is in fact a homosexual. But this could also be a comical "jab" at today's homosexuals.
- I read the whole Harley thing twice and it does not say the word: homosexual anywhere.Sorry If I was rude. (LatiRider 05:22, 24 June 2007 (UTC))
- Homosexual, maybe. Bishōnen definitely. Perhaps you could use that word instead? -- RoninBK T C 23:36, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
The Recurring Cousins
Is there a reason that Nurse Joy has her own page while Officer Jenny does not? It just seems rather uneven. Toadette Fan 23:13, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
Agreed. Even though they aren't featured often game-wise, they should still get their own article.--Tempest115 20:36, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Drew
I think He should also have his own page.It needs to be detailed his dealings with May, Harvey, and Ash's group
Diamond/Pearl Rival's name?
Does the blond rival in Diamond/Pearl have any official name yet?
I heard people calling him Jun.
I call him Tyson.
But what's his "REAL" name? I heard a lot of people calling him Damion or something too.
- It is still uknown yet, or like the FRLG heroes has no known name. I refer to him as Thomas. LatiRider 05:25, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- I heard it's Cory. Because his theme is "Cory's theme"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.175.100.35 (talk) 01:16, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
- Still unknown, but i saw a youtube vid and there was this one picture. i wish i could find it. it had dawn standing next to the rival from the game. maybe i was seeing things or something, but the backround looked like the outdoor table from D/P episode... i forgot. OH! the one before "settling a not so old score". but the dawn and rival thing could be an edit thing. who knows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.223.132.61 (talk) 01:33, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
- The rival has no "official" name. Special calls him "Pearl." "Jun" is one of the default Japanese names. "Corey" must be the result of confusion; Lucas's Japanese name is "Kōki" (resulting in "Kōki's Theme").—Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 01:49, 11 December 2007 (UTC)

Odd Link
I clicked on the Michael Link on this page yet it led to Pokemon XD. Is it broken or is it supposed to do that? LatiRider 05:28, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Is the part about Mimi just vandalisum or is it real?
Names of the characters in Gold / Silver / Crystal?
What are the official names of these characters? Not assumed names, but real ones? A lot of people call the male playable character Gold and the rival Silver, but that seems to have no official source. The female protagonist of Crystal, however, is named Kris, as seen in the back of the game's box. Pokemon Stadium 2 calls the rival "Rival". So is the male protagonist nameless? Or are there any sources backing up the names of the male character and rival (besides anime and manga since they're a separate continuity). 208.101.173.66 20:52, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
"Kris" is the default name for the female protagonist in the English version. The default name for the rival in Crystal Version is Silver. This leaves "Gold" for the male protagonist (though his default name in Crystal Version is "Chris", and "Silver" in Silver Version.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.141.193.115 (talk) 02:58, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Which still isn't a good reason to call them official names. Especially since ahem..."gold" was given a different name in HGSS.
