Season Divisions
[edit]On the 4Kids video page for Dinosaur King, they clearly display episodes 27+ as being "Season 2": [1] Since this is the English-language version of Wikipedia we're going by the English version of the show, so we should divide it on the page as such. Does everyone agree?Mumbo230 (talk) 22:05, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose, the show full english version yes, but if we used the same way a lot of other 4kids shows owuld be broke into multiply seasons, they only break it up because of the time gap between new epsiode and old episode it better to use the japanese way as in the end of the day it a japanese show dubbed into english--Andrewcrawford (talk) 19:17, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- We put the English episode titles first, we use the dub names and everything, so this guide is clearly for the English version of the show.
- The Sonic X page is done in exactly the same way. It's two "series," just like Dinosaur King is, but the guide is split into the three seasons that 4Kids divides them into.
- The reason there was a big gap between the airing of new episodes was because they're two separate seasons - just like every other 4Kids show. 4Kids has 27+ as both the second broadcast season and the second production season.
- Splitting the guide into its proper 26-episode seasons would only normalize it with the other guide pages for 4Kids shows. Again I point to the Sonic X page, which is the easiest comparison, since the show was aired the exact same way. Mumbo230 (talk) 06:55, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- The kirby guide follow the japanese version, the yugioh one follow japanese, it is following japanese for majority of shows, sonic x would appear to be the different oen that need convert probalaly. another example shamn king is one guide where as 4kids says it 3.--Andrewcrawford (talk) 08:38, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
- We only use the dub name because that is the accepted english title for the english dapation teh show is japanese at the end of the day, and 26 epsioe seasons are not proper jsut how 4kids likes to make there shows--Andrewcrawford (talk) 13:34, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Don't Mix up the Dinosaurs
[edit]I've noticed that sometimes people put in dinosaurs that never appear (namely, the Gigantosaurus in episode 47). I don't know who got the idea of it, but the only new dinosaur seen is Black Tyrannosaurus (at the very end).DinoQueen13 (talk) 19:24, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
English Names
[edit]Whoever is meerly converting the Japanese names into English and passing them off as the "English" titles, stop. It quite clearly is not true. CBFan (talk) 09:34, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- You do realise they might have already aire din english dnt you? english doesnt mean america--Andrewcrawford (talk) 10:33, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Again, it would be odd for the episode names to be almost exact to the Japanese ones. DinoQueen13 (talk) 11:41, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
- Btw i aint saying the title you are reverting are correct only that you have to accept they might have already aired that how up to 42 are in because they aired in uk--Andrewcrawford (talk) 12:26, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
This feels stupid, but is "There Back" in the second season/series however you call it "They're Back"? It sounds more grammatically correct that way. DinoQueen13 (talk) 22:43, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Unloess there a source to say where it coming form it can only be revert assume good faith edits.--Andrewcrawford (talk) 11:32, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
- Do you think these new ones are official now? DinoQueen13 (talk) 14:27, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
- No it is a ip user who is adding them, they added the ones that have aired now as well and they where wrong, but they are only trying to improve the article but unless a source is given or someone can confirm it with viewing then it has to be reverted for now--Andrewcrawford (talk) 15:59, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

What the heck?!
[edit]Where did the "Dinosaur King: The Lost Episodes" come from?! It doesn't exist! DinoQueen13 (talk) 15:08, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
- Its a ip user there alway muckign with th epage just revert all edits by them--Andrewcrawford (talk) 18:13, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I would change it back myself as well. sounds like vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.43.140.225 (talk) 16:58, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
American Airdates
[edit]I think we should add another coloum or split the current coloum into two for uk and americna airdates, all suggestion welcome--Andrewcrawford (talk) 21:00, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- English covers the English version of the Dinosaur King dub like they did with the other anime dubs. I don't think an American Air Date template will be pulled off. Rtkat3 (talk) 8:47, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- To which it aired in the uk firs twhich the airadates show having the two serparate coloums means both cna be ther enow--Andrewcrawford (talk) 17:03, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
Episode Summary
[edit]Must the episode summaries be so detailed? If they must, we should have a spoiler warning.--DinoQueen13 (talk) 20:32, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not stop spoilers and does not put spoiler warnings. wp:spoiler--Andrewcrawford (talk) 19:49, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
- Okay then, but not a lot of anime episode summaries are so long and detailed. Should we leave as is, or what? --DinoQueen13 (talk) 19:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Oh without a doubt they should be shortened but if it contaisn spoilers does not matter due to policy but policy also says it hsould be short hence the term shortsummary--Andy Chat c 22:32, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
