There's no such thing as a "laying" human being. Humans don't lay. Humans have live births. For humans, "egg" means "ovum", not something with a hard shell exterior to the body. I've known this all my life, since the moment I first hatched. Humans, however do lie. They can lie on any surface that is not so steeply angled the human will fall off.
