This deleted section claimed that there was a controversy about the show only being broadcast by BBC Scotland rather than all over the UK nationally as
evidence of the BBC favouring English culture over Scottish and other UK cultures. The section used two references to support this : 1) this was a political post on a clearly personal blog ( a unreliable and obscure source) which very very briefly mentions the argument about the show - it uses a reference (it's only evidence for a controversy, which itself is actually no evidence at all ) that links to the Guardian TV review used as a second reference in the Wikipedia article. 2) the Guardian TV review - the opinion of one writer that does not present any evidence of broader controversy about the show - argues that the show is good enough that should be broadcast nationally. The same review ALSO names two recent Scottish TV comedies that were broadcast by the BBC nationally. It does not make the BBC bias "controversy" argument at all attributed to it by the blog or the Wikipeida controversy section. It suggests rather that the issue may be that some Scottish accents are harder for non-Scots to understand than others,
