80 Proof?
[edit]This should instead be "40% alcohol" as the idiotic "proof" system lacks logical basis and is geographically limited to America. Even Americans, when trying to understand the alcohol volume always calculate the percentage to have a valid frame of reference. With any luck the whole system of "proof" will become extinct in favor of the INTERNATIONAL standard (percentage) some day soon.
I've changed it to 40% abv, because different countries use different proof systems. Any ideas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.74.72.108 (talk) 22:28, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
