96.6% should have a source

[edit]

From the lede: The country's official religion is Islam, with 96.6% of the Libyan population being Sunni Muslims.

A statement that precise should have a citation. 2600:1702:6D0:5160:5072:1067:71EA:1CF5 (talk) 16:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Official name?

[edit]

Encyclopedia Britannica claims the official full name of the state is Al-Jumhūriyyah al-Lībiyyah, "The Libyan Republic", not The State of Libya like Wikipedia does. Is this just oversight by EB, or are multiple full names acceptable still (like in Argentina)? Source: https://www.britannica.com/place/Libya ~Sıgehelmus♗(Tøk) 21:11, 8 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
