Earl of Pembroke
[edit]"Gilbert Marshal, Earl of Pembroke, attacked and slighted the castle in 1327."
Gilbert Marshal, 4th Earl of Pembroke died in 1241 so cannot have attacked Leuchars in 1327. Aymer de Valence, 2nd Earl of Pembroke was also dead before this date. Either the person or the date is wrong. What Are The Civilian Applications? (talk) 14:04, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- @What Are The Civilian Applications: - I have removed reference to Earl of Pembroke, which was incorrect. If date is correct, then the title of Earl of Pembroke was extinct at that time. Regards Newm30 (talk) 19:00, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
