POV edits

Edits made by 69.160.29.220 are problematic: accurate information seems to have been provided, but it should be made NPOV. -- Ze miguel 10:43, 30 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Geolocation of this IP [1] places it in Buffalo, NY, where Krims lives. Could be his edits or one of his students. - Sednar (talk · contribs)
The article looks OK now, I think, on NPOV aspects. I just hope nobody adds a picture of Making Chicken Soup. -- Ze miguel 08:51, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

I cannot see how this article does not meet Notability Guidelines. Les Krims is mentioned in the Grove Dictionary of Art, as quoted on artnet.com: http://www.artnet.com/library/04/0480/T048001.asp

Also, there is an about.com article about him (http://photography.about.com/b/a/218937.htm), he had an exhibition in 2004 (http://www.laurencemillergallery.com/krims_exhibition.htm), and is referenced in an O'Reilly book (http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/or/scraped-polaroid-effect.html).

This would all seem to satisfy the criteria for Notability. Sure, he's not a household name, but he's known and referenced enough in photographic circles. In any case, fame is not a criteria for Notability. Euchrid9 23:20, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

True. I've removed the notability tag now. Please tone down the article to more encyclopedic language if possible. Regards,xC | 19:43, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
