[edit]Please correct the reference to "Middle Eastern" origin. That is a pointless reference and has no linguistic merit.

Perspective
[edit]I thought, hey why is the 'Malay response' at the end like an afterthought. Why did the paragraph refer to "the" Malays being asked? What, all of them? Way to obviously other Malay people in an article about them. Latah is something that happens to Malay and Indonesian people, so let's have their view before the DSM Western psych view.

Article seems to be less about this apparent illness, and more about MK-ULTRA.
[edit]I don't know much about either topic, but surely the association should get, at most, one section. Also, this is very strangely written, in an entirely unencyclopedic manner. TTTime05 (talk) 13:17, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and removed that section, because it was off-topic and had no citations directly about the subject of the article. Kbseah (talk) 17:44, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
