Article title / identification

[edit]

I'm finding it hard to identify sources that prescribe Lampang as the name of a singular volcano. Most mentions seen in a brief Google Scholar search are to a Lampang volcanic belt (though I'm not sure if the terminology is accurate), and Thai sources suggest it's used more as a descriptive term, i.e. the volcano(es) at Lampang, with some referring to the two craters mentioned in the article as individual volcanoes. Even if Lampang volcanic belt isn't used, I'd prefer Lampang volcano, which reflects usage as a descriptive term rather than a proper name. @Paul 012 Good point. Lampang does not refer to a single volcano hence title isn't correct. Though, it was the name given by the Smithsonian's GVP which I followed and added (volcano) to distinguish. A move to Lampang volcanic belt would be appropriate when I add additional findings to cover the wider picture. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore the morgue) 11:18, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
