Typos
[edit]There are lots of typos in the article, someone should look on it. --Dlugacz (talk) 05:52, 30 September 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. I have tried to clean up the section about his shrine and I will look into the rest of the article soon. Omirocksthisworld(Drop a line) 10:44, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
There is no evidence the Qawwali was written by Amir Khusrou (He NEVER wrote anything in Punjabi) and nor is this qawwali any where in the poetry of Baba Bulleh Shah. These lines need to be deleted.
Mistyping 1299,

[edit]2 years before, it was written like that he was of age 97 at the time of his death and now date is fake totally. Any source which tells what is correct to prevent hoaxing. SahabAliwadia 10:03, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

In the very first line, change "Syed Shah Hussain" to "Syed Muhammad Usman". The latter is his actual name given to him at birth. Zakoota1911 (talk) 17:49, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
- Not done, this source says otherwise and you'd need stronger sources to override it. – Thjarkur (talk) 18:45, 12 December 2019 (UTC)

Proposal to merge from Jhulelal (Sufism) (Implemented)
[edit]- Jhulelal (Sufism) is a stub which describes a title or epithet of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, so it's redundant and would better be merged into the latter. Scyrme (talk) 03:01, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Since objections were raised I've now implemented this merge. Scyrme (talk) 19:03, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
Wrong birth place
[edit]I am decedent of hazrat lal Shahbaz qalander. As his last name is marwandi so isn't it kinda obvious that he's from marwand/marand in iran? Kindly look over it and correct this mistake. I tried to but couldn't understand or figure it how to. TIA 103.228.157.58 (talk) 08:06, 20 November 2021 (UTC) I have changed it per the source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.57.51.244 (talk) 17:19, 12 July 2022 (UTC)
- References at Marwand support the city being in Afghanistan near the southeastern border of Iran. Numerous sources in this article also mention Marwand being in Sistan, a region including areas from easter Iran and southwestern Afghanistan. The Iranian city Marand is on the eastern side of Iran near Azerbaijan, no it's not plausible that "Marwand" is an alternate spelling of "Marand" in this case.
