The existence of LGBT billionaires, especially if they support the cause, is fodder for conspiracy-like theories

[edit]

This article theorises that the LGBT movement has transformed from an oppressed minority into a "relentless behemoth" with substantial influence over media, academia, business, and philanthropy. It directly targets Jon Stryker, but also Tim Gill, who is too poor to fit on this list (his net worth is only of hundreds of millions of dollars).

Of course, this is nothing next to the money used against the LGBT movements, with AT&T and Amazon as the most prominent anti-LGBT donor companies.

Maybe we should add a sentence or two about this? Maxime182752 (talk) 05:14, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

AT&T has already admitted that the company has used bribes to influence changes in legislation, and agreed to pay a fine for it. Their deals with certain politicians work in a self-described quid pro quo basis. As for the company's long affiliation with far-right politics, it created the One America News Network as its main vehicle for political propaganda. Business as usual in the United States.
