Well, "reliable" doesn't really go with personal and user-contributed sites (per both WP:RS and WP:ELNO). But the info could indeed serve a purpose: it has all such works in one place, and, if a list work is needed, we could take inspiration from it for including, say, those comics that were published as books (not just all comics ever published, as that's bound to be overkill here). I don't mean just copy them, of course: these books were published, and a the full inclusion of publication data for each (publishing house, year, isbn or oclc, whatever else) would guarantee that these works are their own reference for their existence (i. e. not for critical commentary).
Man, I sometimes so wish I could make sense of Hungarian: it's so frustrating to only "get" half of what is being said about a subject present in both cultures, and these are the most precious subjects. Dahn (talk) 12:46, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I was only bold enough to say reliable, because Ferenc Kiss is one of the greatest Hungarian comics historians (and collector), and wiki.kepregeny.net is a closed site, using wiki motor. Only registered users are allowed to edit, and edits are checked by admins. Yes, a comic book biblio would be useful, noting that many of her works were published sequentially in children magazines.
Language barriers are tough in this region. I myself try to make emphasis on getting people know comics cultures of the surrounding cultures. (For example, last year I got to publish an article about Romanian comics history by Dodo Nita.) Zoli79 (talk) 13:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize for not knowing the full details, but it still looks like a personal project, and, judging by google translate, it says: "anyone is free to edit here, as long as they log in". This looks almost like the editorial check we have on wikipedia, and wikipedia is not a trusted site. Dahn (talk) 22:11, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I thought a photo about Livia Rusz would be better in the info box, as in other biographies.
Here are some photos I found on Hungarian comics portal, kepregeny.net: Comics Festival 2009 - 1(with Alexandru Ciubotariu, Ferenc Kiss, Szatmáry József, Dodo Nita and Antal Bayer) Comics Festival 2009 - 2 Comics Festival 2009 - 3 Comics Festival 2009 - 4 Hungarocomix 2008
I personally know the people, who made these photos, if any one of them are usable, then I could contact them. The only problem is that the first 4 photos were made by Mihály Vass, a comics artist with no internet and email address... But, maybe a low res pic could fit into fair use. Zoli79 (talk) 13:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I like #2 best, if those are her works. But, can we use an image of an image without the rights to both? Restated: Do we need rights to the artwork in the photo as well as to the photo itself?Sabiona (talk) 15:05, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
