[edit]Removed note saying he was going to be starring in the upcoming show Terra Nova - that role went to Jason O'Mara —Preceding unsigned comment added by Courageousrobot (talk • contribs) 04:58, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

Bad Link
[edit]Probably easy to fix this if you are familiar with editing on the front page! In CAREER Paragraph, line 2, when you CLICK on "Tour Of Duty" it takes you to the disambiquous page for the term and NOT to the page for that show, which is here: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Tour_of_Duty_%28TV_series%29 . . . Yes, Tour of Duty-The TV Series. That will need to ba changed to be correct. Thank-You!!! Lesbrown99 (talk) 15:58, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
Kyle Martin Fitzgerald Chandler
[edit]I'm going to strip the Fitzgerald from the Kyle Martin Fitzgerald Chandler name because I can't find any reliable sources to confirm it. Leaving this as a record of that, in case new information comes to light. Tried to clean up the page and add citations. I think it's much more solid now. -- Erika BrillLyle (talk) 11:43, 27 February 2015 (UTC)
- He only has the one middle name 'Martin' (I'm a relative). InsertCleverPhraseHere InsertTalkHere 08:46, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

undid vandalism
[edit]There was some vandalism with regard to the occupation of his father, back in 2010, which I tracked down to a previously used for vandalism IP (69.47.21.154). all the other changes had already been changed back, but the pharmaceutical salesman>>cigarette salesman bit had been missed. Fixed now. InsertCleverPhraseHere InsertTalkHere 08:56, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
Sources from ethniceleb.com ref
[edit]Since ethniceleb.com is not reliable, here are the sources that it cites: --Ronz (talk) 02:37, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Kyle’s paternal grandfather, Harold J. Chandler, on the 1920 U.S. Census – https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MJ22-5FB
- Kyle’s paternal grandmother, Grace E. Hackford, on the 1920 U.S. Census – https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MJ2L-3T1
- Kyle’s paternal great-grandmother, Charlotte “Lottie” Drew, on the 1880 U.S. Census – https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MWXW-6WF
- Without working with the information from ethniceleb.com, which is unreliable, I'm not sure if these are enough to verify the information without original research on our part. --Ronz (talk) 17:49, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- I have a COI here, I am a relative (thats why I look out for vandalism here, which is frequent). The information here is true, so it is a shame that most of it is not contained on the family search forms and can't be used. I'll try to dig up more documents that can be used without OR. InsertCleverPhraseHere 21:40, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Let me know if I can help. --Ronz (talk) 23:50, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Ronz Well I found some old documents, Harold's brother's birth certificate for example, which shows that Harold's dad was Canadian and of Irish descent (something that wasn't even in the ethnicelebs post), and a bunch of other isolated documents. I think that a lot of the research that went into the Ethnicelebs post is from sources behind ancestry.com's paywall (and why they weren't included as listed sources). However, while fascinating to me, I don't think any of this info can be used here without riding the WP:SYNTH train. So I guess unless someone independently researches it, and posts it in a reliable source, we are kind of screwed when it comes to this material being added to the article as a 'Kyle's ancestry is German, English and Irish" statement (even though it is true). InsertCleverPhraseHere 21:36, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for looking into it. I wonder if there are Wikipedia editors that have access to ancestry.com that would help. I'm not sure where to look. Someone at WP:VP might be able to point us in the right direction. --Ronz (talk) 21:55, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- But can we use those sources anyway? Combining a timeline of documents that indicates that they are Kyle's ancestors would be SYNTH. It is possible that Kyle's Birth Certificate, or some other document of his parents might list their countries of ancestry, but I haven't found those documents. InsertCleverPhraseHere 22:21, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- Good point. Given the discussions I've been involved in concerning birth dates, I expect better sources would be required. Looks like a dead end without secondary sources. --Ronz (talk) 23:21, 7 February 2017 (UTC)

About Netflix film Slumberland
[edit]in last sentence under Kyles acting.. Will someone pls highlight the movie Slumberland & add page about that movie? I do not know how to do that! Thank you! SandcastleLyndy (talk) 18:10, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi SandcastleLyndy it is really important that you cite a source, especially when adding content to a biography of a living person. Read WP:CITE to learn how. Fieryninja (talk) 18:21, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Also I see under career someone added he will join the cast of Netflix film Slumberland. If someone can add about the movie, highlight the movie and highlight the actors I wrote in the sentence (playing alongside Jason Momoa Chris O'Dowd and young actress Harlow Barkley , if someone cld highlight their names to take to their pages? Thank you so very much! I wish I knew how to do more, but I leave all that to you professionals! SandcastleLyndy (talk) 18:22, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Hi fieryninja! Will you pls help me? And do that? Thank you so much! SandcastleLyndy (talk) 18:24, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hi SandcastleLyndy I'll clean up the entry for you, but also note that the film is already cited in the body text so we don't need to add a citation to the lead paragraph. Fieryninja (talk) 18:26, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you Fieryninja you're a star!! I'm truly just a long time supporter of Wikipedia and only once in awhile add a sentence! Thank you dear! SandcastleLyndy (talk) 19:11, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
