Map is wrong

Recent events

There is no discussion here of recent events, meaning the Ukranian incursion into the Kursk oblast. Wrong map

Yes, but the map you added is from 2011; it is outdated; among other things, as @Mellk said, the administrative boundaries of Moscow are incorrect. Crimea should not be shown as part of Russia without at least displaying the disputed status, but we at the same time should not be using an outdated map. Yes, personally I would prefer if it did not include Crimea or if it was marked as disputed, but this is something that has to be dealt with on Commons. I do not think your solution of including a pushpin map for the city of Kursk is an improvement (or having no map at all). If we look at The Territories of the Russian Federation 2023, the map there includes Crimea, but it is noted as a disputed territory in the legend.
