Koch is subset of Rajbanshi or Rajbanshi is subset of Koch ?

[edit]

@Fylindfotberserk: Koch tribe is aboriginal tribe of India, Nepal and Bangladesh. Rajbongshi are either very different people or section of Koch-Mech people who write Rajbanshi title. So, Rajbanshi can be treated as section of Koch or Rajbongshi are just title of some unknown origin people. Koch tribe have history. Koch tribe is government recognised ST in Meghalaya. In my opinion, Koch people page should exist because Koch is government notified scheduled tribe. Rajbongshi have redirected Koch people page into Rajbongshi page. So, Koch tribe can't be search easily. Koch tribe is being hidden by Rajbongshi . In simple word, Koch tribe is scheduled tribe with history and known origin . But Rajbongshi are people with confusing origin. If Rajbongshi are koch , Rajbongshi should be treated as part of Koch. And Koch page shouldn't be redirected to Rajbongshi page. Rajbongshi/Rangpuri are an Indo-Aryan speaking community treated separately in Nepal, Bangladesh and West Bengal (where they enjoy Scheduled Caste status). - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:41, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
They are SC . And they have different origin. These page is giving Koch related information. Which is absolutely incorrect. They should either write all this in Koch-Rajbansi page or Koch page. But In this page. All these are unrelated PerfectingNEI (talk) 18:21, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Lets see what people decide. Since Rajbangshi/Rangpuri are treated as a separate group in Nepal and Bengal, the Koch related stuff may be deleted from this article. BUt after the discussion at INB. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:23, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Look Here http://www.iosrjournals.org/iosr-jhss/papers/Vol.%2024%20Issue3/Series-8/C2403081014.pdf It's Clearly Mentioned Here That No One Can Seperate The History Between "Koch" and "Rajbongshi" -Robo Zay (talk) 19:00, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Robo Zay: Dibrugarh publication. Dibrugarh university already have record of money earn PhD scholars. If Rajbongshi are Koch origin then Rajbongshi use Koch word in front of them. PerfectingNEI (talk) 11:27, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@PerfectingNEI:All the works they did relys on previous works, books, journals etc hence it is still a debatable topic. It is believed that when the koch people of West Bengal,Bangladesh,Bihar started living with other communities they suffered from a lot of discrimination and they were considered as "lower caste", hence they started calling themselves "Rajbongshi" instead of "Koch" that's why the 'Khsatriya' Movement also took place.Robo Zay (talk) 11:58, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I know everything. There is Koch , Mech , Koch-Mech origin Rajvamsi , Jhalo-Malo Rajbongshi , Rajbongshi etc. Rajbongshi isn't only koch origin. 12 Mech chieftain aslo became Rajvamsi in past PerfectingNEI (talk) 12:14, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You can't claim to know everything. Provide sources first. And don't keep spamming every talk. Keep the discussion at WP:INB - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 14:34, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
