Origin of meta key
[edit]The Knight keyboard was not the first to have a meta key. It was inspired by the keyboard at the Stanford AI Lab. I have this confirmed by Tom Knight. Les Earnest made the SAIL keyboard and says he invented the meta and top keys. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Larsbrinkhoff (talk • contribs) 06:41, 27 February 2019 (UTC)
