- Comment: In ALT1, the link could be to Liber denudationis, the title of the Latin version and a redirect, but I think direct links are preferred.

Overall: @Srnec: Good article. Will have to assume good faith on the offline sources. Onegreatjoke (talk) 04:11, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Srnec and Onegreatjoke: Hey y'all! I think ALT0 is definitely on the right track – but I also think if there were a small amount of easily understandable explanation on what this is and why the context is important, it would be a lot more intriguing. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 09:50, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

- @Srnec: That's good, if you don't mind my cutting the name of the caliph in post? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 10:15, 6 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Theleekycauldron: If you think it's 'hookier'. The reason I named al-Hakim—and I realize this cannot explained in the hook—is that "al-Ḥākim's policies and actions were probably the most extreme in the history of Coptic relations with Muslims in Egypt," according to the cited source (pp. 5–6). If we had an article on al-Hakim's religious policies, I'd have linked that, but the closest we've got is an article on the most famous episode, the destruction of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in 1009. Article Rating
[edit]@Srnec, I rated this article C-class as a starting point; it looks like it could qualify as B-class or higher, but I was leaving the peer-review process to the relevent WikiProjects.
Let me know your thoughts, -Proxima Centari (talk) 23:50, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
- Don't take it personally, but I don't see the point in waiting for what may never come. Many projects have lists of B criteria. A C rating implies some failure against those criteria. But if it hasn't even been checked...? I don't bother with the A-rating, GA and FA processes, but when I write a long(er) article, I aim for a B rating. It is comprehensive, referenced and has pictures. If it doesn't meet even a B standard, I'd like to be told how, so I can remedy it. That's all. Srnec (talk) 03:04, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- I see your point. Sometime this coming week I can review it against the lists of B criteria and see where it stands.
Thanks for the reply,
