Additional content for the article

[edit]

Hi. I work for King Street Capital Management and understand that I should discuss suggestions and requests with the community. In an effort to expand the article, here are a few facts that I think should be added:

  • At its founding, King Street Capital Management was a hedge fund focused on distressed debt. The firm has invested across credit over the years, including performing, stressed, distressed, corporate, structured, asset-backed, and real estate. [1]
  • In 2017, the firm launched Rockford Tower, its collateralized-loan obligations business.[2]
  • In 2022, the firm launched a dedicated private credit strategy.[1]

Done, thanks Max at King Street, I have reviewed your suggestions and appear neutral and so have added the information to the article. Note one of the references is behind a paywall, in future it is better to find supporting references from open sources as it is easier to verify. Sargdub (talk) 22:16, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much, Sargdub, and I appreciate the tip. Max at King Street (talk) 15:16, 4 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, Sargdub, would you be able to add the following sentence to the article wherever you see fit?
The firm employs approximately 250 employees and operates offices in New York, London, Singapore, Charlottesville, Virginia, Dublin, Tokyo, Dubai and Palo Alto.[1]
Given the offices around the world, would you switch the first sentence back to read "...a global investment management company..." rather than "...an American investment management company..."?
The office locations can be verified here.

Thanks Max at King Street,  Done I have added the employee information. As for global vs American, having a few offices around the world does not mean the company is global, I feel its more accurate to leave it as American, unless you have good third party reference that says that its is truly managed globally.
