Lead

[edit]
  • "but grew up in France due to his father's professional career." - Delink France per MOS:OVERLINK
  • "He debuted for Cholet's senior team at age 16 before efore receiving regular playing time in the following season." - the word denoted in bold should be deleted

Early life and career

[edit]
  • Wikilink points, assists and steals to their respective articles on the first time they are mentioned in the article
  • "and often playing pick-up games in Lakeland and Orlando, Florida in the summer." - don't use seasons per MOS:SEASON
  • "Hayes watched highlights on YouTube," - highlights of basketball games on
  • Wikilink college basketball
  • "sharing MVP honors with Addison Patterson," - spell out MVP on its first mention in the prose and put the acronyms in parentheses

Cholet (2017–2019)

[edit]
  • "After his team was last-place in its league early in the season," - last place is not hyphenated
  • "At 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina in February, he competed at the Basketball Without Borders camp." - clarify that it was Hayes' second time at the camp

ratiopharm Ulm (2019–present)

[edit]
  • "six assists and eight turnovers in a win over Rasta Vechta." - Südwestrundfunk does not state that Hayes had eight turnovers in that game
  • "chipping in eight points, nine assists and three steals" - try not to use wording such as "chipping in"
  • "He recorded 20 points, 10 assists and four rebounds on 11 February in a 112–106 overtime loss to Alba Berlin." - the phrase "on 11 February" can be moved to the end of this sentence
  • Also, the EuroHoops citation attached to the sentence above doesn't mention that Hayes had four rebounds in this particular game

National team career

[edit]
  • Delink Argentina per MOS:OVERLINK
  • "he received a six-game suspension by the French Federation of Basketball" - reword this sentence so it passes WP:LIMITED since it is too close to the EuroHoops source that is used to verify it

Player profile

[edit]
  • "although he is not regarded as an extraordinary athlete." - regarded by whom exactly?

Personal life

[edit]
  • "Hayes is the son of Sandrine (née Demiannay) and DeRon Hayes. He has an American father, DeRon Hayes" - this text should be shortened to mention his father only once
  • Delink the second mention of Cholet

References

[edit]
  • Reference 6 should mention that the source is written in French
  • Reference 9 is missing the author of the article
  • The work of Reference 39 should be changed from Quest-France.fr to just Quest-France
