Balinese kendang
[edit]I don't believe that Balinese kendang have two heads of the same size--Michael Tenzer's book Balinese Gamelan states, on page 38, they "are usually made of nangka wood shaped into a tapering cylinder." Is there any source for the opposite statement? I know that Sumarsam was a Javanese musician and scholar, so I doubt if his book covers Balinese music. --Tdimhcs (talk) 05:19, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
