"Kotla is also very famous place where famous Hakeem Family lives. Hakeem Mohd Masih was elected Village Perdhaan many times. Lala Ram Prakash was also very reputed person. He organised Penth (Subji Mandi) on every Tuesday and Saturday. Now the new generation of Syed families are highly qualified. It is a proud of Distt. Muzaffar Nagar(Uttar Pradesh). Late Lala Hukum Chand Jain served as Sarpanch to this village over 50 years. Lala Hukum Chand Jain was a prominent person in this village followed by Six son's and three daughter's. Famous Ramchandra Vatika is Located in this village. The place is an example of Hindu-Muslim Unity after independence, Which is a sign of National Integration. The persons of Kawal are called Shehzaade(The Title was given by Mughal Emperor Humanyun). We the people of Kawal feel proud to be part of such prestigious place."
