[edit]The assertion about her unique status precludes "speedy". Take it to AfD if you think it shouldn't be here. Michael Hardy (talk) 17:04, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
Removed the following: "She is the only female mathematician at MIT who was hired with a junior faculty position." Not true: previous female jr faculty include K. Smith and S. Billey. Dan4th (talk) 19:57, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
Feb 2010 Tagging
[edit]Notability issues evidently run much deeper than the above would suggest. WoS indicates only 6 peer-reviewed publications having collectively fewer than 10 citations. These are the sorts of statistics that have failed WP:PROF in AfD numerous times. There isn't anything else currently in the article that makes a strong case. Respectfully, Agricola44 (talk) 22:45, 1 February 2010 (UTC).
Notability Issue
[edit]I agree with the others' that 6 articles with fewer than 10 citations suggests that a wiki article is premature. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.30.202.142 (talk) 02:21, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it's probably a good idea to allow some time for further material to be added, if such exists. If not, then it probably should go to AfD. Respectfully, Agricola44 (talk) 16:40, 3 February 2010 (UTC).
The subject of this article respectfully agrees that this article could safely be deleted ... for all I can tell it was started originally as a joke by someone who should have known better.Wehrheim (talk) 06:42, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

Pluralis Majestatis?
[edit]For curiosity: in the whole article the pronouns "they, their etc" are used to address the person. I think the reason should at least be explained in the talk section. Otherwise the person is identified as a women not a queer/diverse person. So consequently she should be addressed as she/her etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a02:908:69e:8c40:51c4:3978:1eef:ca14 (talk • contribs) 13:49, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
LGBT categories
[edit]The addition of LGBT categories is based off of "Katrin Wehrheim – Women In Math". math.mit.edu. Retrieved 2021-08-28.: "Katrin came out as a gay woman during a panel discussion at an MIT women’s math conference, and to loud applause." Mysterymanblue 07:53, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
