Prakendorf loose end

[edit]

The article lists his birth place as "Prakendorf, Germany". A Google search doesn't turn up such a place, although there's apparently a "Prakendorf, Slovakia", which may be a Germanicized version of Prakovce. It's my casual understanding that that part of the earth was never part of Germany, but rather was part of Hungary prior to World War I and part of Czechoslovakia for most of last century, winding up in Slovakia currently.

Of course, the place may no longer exist, have been renamed, renamed and moved into another country, or is so small as to not make the web (yet). It would be nice if someone would run this reference down. Studerby (talk) 23:47, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
