Neutrality?

[edit]

This whole article is a long completely opinionated piece. There is hardly any citation and that which is all comes from websites related to the source itself. None of this article presently meets Wikipedia's POV standards. Inter&anthro (talk) 14:34, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • To be more precise, I wouldn't say the whole article is "a long completely opinionated piece." I wrote the section on Release and I tried to just base it on book refs about the film's production. "Production conditions" (which I had nothing to do with) is a massive block of text that is generally not bad. The real problem is the big "Historical significance" section, which is just as Inter&anthro says. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 14:57, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry Shawn in Montreal, I kind of did generalize, I should of read more of the article before I commented. Inter&anthro (talk) 16:35, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh no offence taken. Taken as a whole, the POV section does rather dominate. best, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 16:43, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question: is there anything that can be done about this documentary showing up as the primary Wikipedia suggestion when searching for the land dispute by the name "Kanehsatake Resistance" instead of "Oka Crisis"? I also noticed all the issues with this article, but I'm in no position to comment on that given my inexperience... Goddale120 (talk) 15:54, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
