Does this merit an article?
[edit]I have two questions. First, who outside WP actually calls the stream below the Kalapani temple and army post Kalapani River? Even if that seems like an excellent name for it, Wikipedia has a policy against promoting neologisms.
Second, shouldn't material about this part of the river be in Sharda River which also covers the mountain/hill part called Kali in Uttarakhand and Mahakali in Nepal? Even though it isn't calledShar(a)da until the Terai in U.P., we don't have separate Kali and Mahakali articles because of shifting names; we only redirect.
Likewise we don't have one article for Kali Gandaki, another article for Narayani (mainstem in Nepal) and a third article for the Gandak after it enters India. We don't have a Koshi (कोशी) article for Nepal and a Kosi (कोसी) article for India. We don't have one article for the Arun in Nepal, a second for the Bum Chu in Tibetan usage, plus a third one for whatever the Chinese call it now. Instead Wikipedia seems to have a de-facto policy of single articles with redirects for rivers with shifting names
The main exception I can think of is Yarlung Tsangpo in Tibet and Brahmaputra in India/Bangladesh, Then I suppose there are historical reasons because it was only suspected that they were the same until the expedition of Frederick Marshman Bailey in 1913. Nevertheless WP doesn't actually have a separate article for the Dihang or Siang as the river is called in Arunchal. Instead Siang points back to Brahmaputra.
