this article should be merged...dont know why there are two
there was never a mercedes badged musso...All australian mercedes dealers became a ssangyong dealer as well at one point selling both ssangyoung and mercedes not a mercdes-benz musso as suggested here.
The above is true Mercedes dealers sold them in Aus but never badged them as a Mercedes. but the cars owners like sticking Mercedes badges on them. I also find this unbeleivable "The car was designed by Chairman Mao in 1973"
I agree with the above two comments about Mercedes Benz dealers distributing the product in Australia. All Aus MB dealers got the Ssang Yong pruduct and signage for their dealership and sold it as a Ssang-Yong. No where in the artical the paragrath reference does it say it was badged a Mercedes Benz Musso. Also note, Australian avertising at the time was not shy about suggesting the car was using MB mechanicals. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.209.153.63 (talk) 06:32, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Cite link describing Australian - Mercedes and Ssang Yong relationship proving there was no such thing as a Mercedes Benz Musso. http://www.carsguide.com.au/news-and-reviews/buyers-guide/ssangyong_musso_1996_1998_buyers_guide — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.209.147.110 (talk) 08:27, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
another source doubting a Mercedes branded Musso "The first fruit of this partnership was the SsangYong Musso, an SUV offered through Mercedes-Benz dealerships locally from 1996 (but not branded as such)" https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-news/ssangyong-the-history-of-a-brand-with-an-uncertain-future — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.35.141 (talk) 07:34, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
"Musso" in Britain was/is a shortening of the name of the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.129.121.42 (talk) 22:27, 7 December 2011 (UTC)
