Head

Carried her own head?

"Bana felt her underclothes and found them moist, whereupon he immediately struck off her head. A spring of water appeared at the spot. Juthwara then carried her head back to the church."

So, her head was struck off and then a well sprung up and then, beheaded and assumingly then very dead, she carried back her own head to a church? This makes no sense at all so I just wondered if the text was actually entered correctly here or if there had been some error.

It's called a miracle. This particular miracle was very common amongst holy cephalophores. Walgamanus 21:17, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
