Regarding the significance of this article

[edit]
  1. These two otherwise obscure players are part of the history of a first division soccer league.
  2. They, togethor, are part of the history of a first division soccer team.
  3. While Juninho is a professional player with a somewhat known career, Tulio is unknown and would not warrant a seperate article.
  4. The two guys are linked in articles in major international publications, including the New York Times article included in the article. Mohrflies (talk) 17:39, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Surely every player who played for a club, even the most minor youth player, is part of the history of a club. This doesn't make them notable. If Tulio "would not warrant a seperate article", then you are admitting he isn't notable. GiantSnowman 17:52, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Juninho warrant a separate article because he played in USL-1. I suggest the article is moved to his name (with some sort of disambiguation from the other people of that name). Jmorrison230582 (talk) 07:00, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm fine with a page on Juninho if we can prove he played in USL-1; but Tulio is definitely non-notable. GiantSnowman 10:21, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can't we just rename the article "Juninho..." and delete any mention of Tulio? Spiderone 12:30, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe mention that Juninho was signed alongside Tuli, but nothing more. GiantSnowman 12:31, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
