[edit]Julius (Judy) Patching isn't a standard page name - surely it should be located at Judy Patching? GiantSnowman 13:54, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed. I moved it to "Julius Patching" for now. If people show evidence that "Judy Patching" is more common, I'll gladly come move it to that. Cheers, CP 18:05, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Of the five references given - 1 refers to him as Julius 'Judy' Patching; 2 & 3 call him Judy; 4 is dead; and 5 calls him Julius L. Patching. Personally, I would support a move to Judy. Regards, GiantSnowman 19:58, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Me too. He was always far better known as "Judy Patching" than by his legal name. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 23:26, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
Icon?
[edit]The lead says "Patching...was an Australian Olympic icon..." I don't think "icon" is acceptable. Far too weaselish. HiLo48 (talk) 07:01, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
