There's a lot of opinion in this article. %90 of it is opinion.24.167.105.97 (talk) 05:04, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Whoever did the original article. I vaguely remember Gene Lees doing an article about Julius LaRosa that appeared in a book of his in the early nineties. I think your information comes from that article. Unfortunately the library where I live doesn't carry that book. I've been deleting a lot of unverifiable anecdotes and things that seem to take attention away from Julius LaRosa. Arthur Godfrey always strikes me as vaguely repellant.24.167.105.97 (talk) 02:52, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
Also, it kept being reiterated in the original article that Julius LaRosa is sick of talking about the Godfrey thing (after 55 years!) and I read the article and most of it was actually about Arthur Godfrey, so I tried to put the emphasis back on Julius LaRosa.24.167.105.97 (talk) 04:45, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Origins
[edit]Is the guy of Italian origins? VincentG 13:28, 15 February 2007 (UTC) Yes and one of the things I deleted was the comparison between LaRosa and Tony Bennett, difficult to see since it was never elaborated on. The only similiarties I saw were that they are of Italian American origins, became famous in the early fifties, had television shows in the fifties and have similiar repertoire. All of which might lead to something, but again they were never elaborated on with outside research.209.184.113.55 (talk) 13:27, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
