How to delete inaccurate wikipedia page that is not currently up to date.

[edit]

Looking for some help from someone who understands Wikipedia rules and regulations.

I was told that it was ok for me personally to update my own Wikipedia page. Last night I spent some time updating it. I wanted to add some information about the fact that I had completed a master’s degree in animal law because there is no mention of that currently on my page.

When I went to look at my Wikipedia page I found some messages to me saying that I had violated Wikipedia rules.

Please see below where I tried to add some text about my master’s degree in animal law and I was told that I couldn’t do it myself and I would need to add some references. Short of attaching a copy of my diploma I can’t find any website that lists anywhere that I graduated from the program. I have a link from Lewis and Clark that said I was a student but they don’t put out a website, as far as I know, where it lists graduates.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can add the text I wanted to add without being called out as a violator of Wikipedia policy?
