When JK was born, Komarom referred to the town on the north bank; the town on the south bank was Ujsony. The towns were joined in 1892 under the name of Komarnom. As JK was born in 1867 in the then Komarnom, she was born on the north bank. The north bank town today is Komarno, Slovakia.----Smerus (talk) 08:22, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
