Removing notability flag

[edit]

I have added four new reliable secondary sources that are independent of this person and provide significant coverage or examples of her and her work beyond a mere trivial mention. This answers the concerns of the notability flag, so I would like to remove it. Ejgertz (talk) 22:32, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There are sources listed at GScholar that likely help support notability, e.g.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to access them directly or via the Wikipedia Library. Maintaining the notability tag for now can help invite other editors to continue developing this article. Beccaynr (talk) 01:58, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for listing these additional sources! Isn't there a way to cite materials that cannot be accessed directly online? This is, of course, one of the ongoing challenges involved with increasing and improving Wikipedia bios of notable women and their work. Ejgertz (talk) 15:54, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The two 2020 sources listed above are both related to research led by Christopher Shamburg, and there is a related cite in the article - with access to the other two, I think a paragraph could be developed about the study and its findings. In the meantime, the citations could be stacked at the end of the sentence, but it will start to look like WP:TOOMANYREFS.
The 2017 source is a book review that includes a focus on her contribution, so it is secondary coverage that is helpful for supporting her notability - while the cite could also be stacked, it would be nice to incorporate it into the article as content (e.g., introducing the book, contextualizing her contribution).
The 2022 source is a mystery as to which show is discussed, but is likely helpful - this source could be added to support the fact that she has a production company, but there may be more available to further develop the article.
However, we can ask at the WiR Talk page and/or Wikiproject Resource Exchange for assistance. I can plan on posting at WiR later today if a request is not made before then. Cheers, Beccaynr (talk) 16:29, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Great work! I think these are really strong sources, especially the academic papers.Angshah (talk) 13:17, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
