Keeping Article
[edit]I disagree with this article being deleted. Cjg081138 (talk) 05:29, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- Why? Can I just add the observation you're a very new account, just 2 days old, and promoting this article elsewhere. -- Longhair\talk 05:31, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- The article seems objective. I know he is running against Clay Higgins, and the info appears to be legitimate. I’m new at Wikipedia. If I’m missing something, please let me know.Cjg081138 (talk) 05:46, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
- WP:POLITICIAN will provide you with everything you need to know about the criteria for articles on politicians. Usually, candidates do not meet the threshold for inclusion at Wikipedia. Further, discussion here about keeping the article will have little impact. The deletion discussion is underway at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Josh Guillory. -- Longhair\talk 06:00, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
This candidate is challenging an incumbent of the same party in Louisiana. I think the material I provided was neutral, fact-oriented, and provides value. I ask that the article not be deleted. Windsor2013 (talk) 06:00, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
Could we add the article back? Guillory is now Mayor-President of Lafayette and many former mayor-presidents all have articles. This is a significant position representing over 200,000 people in a mid-sized metro area.Rivere123 (talk) 22:45, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
