Death date?

[edit]

Contradiction, is it 1970 or 1979? The article states twice that Bachmann died in 1970, and once in 1979. As far as I know, he died in 1970, but I could be wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davemanno (talkcontribs) 05:41, 25 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article now correctly gives the death date 1979 as rthqt of Dutschke.
It may be relevant to include the information that the right-wing newspaper chain, Axel Springer Verlag, which controlled over 80% of the West Berlin newspaper circulation, repeatedly harped on the "danger" of Dutschke's activities, and within a month of the assassination attempt the large-print sign on Berlin kiosks (visible from a half-block away) read: Stoppt Dutschke jetzt, sonst Bũrgerkrieg!"Tokerdesigner (talk) 18:15, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
