State senator
[edit]According to Bench and Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the official publication of the Massachusetts Bar, Jonathan Leavitt was a state senator in Massachusetts.[1] The Bar association journal seems as good a source as any, but if you're able to supply other info that Leavitt was an assemblyman, we can make that change.Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 17:49, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Leavitt served as a state senator, having served previously as an assemblyman. I've added a footnote.MarmadukePercy (talk) 18:35, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
