Barnet stats
[edit]Mr Hunt's page on the Downhill Second Half website does indeed state 36 league apps rather than the 33 previously counted in his infobox stats. The 36 includes 2 appearances in the 1991/92 play-offs, which Wikipedia doesn't count as league matches in the infobox: see the documentation and scroll down to the row starting {{{caps1}}}. Which takes it down to 34.
The problematic extra 1 is the Conference match v Boston United on 11 Sept 1990, which Hunt's profile page lists as a sub appearance. Unfortunately, the Downhill Second Half page for that match gives the subs as Paul Wilson and Kevin Durham, no mention of Hunt. And Harman's Alliance to Conference 1979–2004, the official Conference stats book for the first 25 years, doesn't list Hunt among Barnet's players.[1] I've found a match report that mentions Durham playing, but can't find one with either a full lineup or a mention of Wilson or Hunt in the prose.
So I've put the figure back to 33, pending clarification either from Downhill Second Half making an informed decision as to who the second sub was against Boston or from an alternative likely accurate source that supports one version or the other. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:31, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
