Notability
[edit]in reference to the concern over notability i added a few statistics in order to show that Mitzewich is indeed a well known video chef. He has been features in compilations such as "The Most Popular YouTube Cooking Videos Of 2010" (Huffington Post) where he was featured multiple times. There isn't anyone else in his field who has achieved the same level of prominence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Enburst (talk • contribs) 06:57, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
writes a blog called Food Wishes, has won some awards, though cannot vouch for importance of them. <http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2011/03/help-ive-been-wikipediad.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ekeby (talk • contribs) 05:46, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
John Mitzewich is also a well-known chef on food.about.com. I think he also teaches at culinary school. And he was a chef at Ryan's Cafe in S.F. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.184.108.132 (talk) 16:24, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
Date accuracy?
[edit]Basil Magazine profile has him entering college in 1981, not 1983.

- The page originally said 1981 but Chef John himself edited it to be 1983. Presumably he knows when he went to college, but we'll need to find a reliable source to substantiate this. Based on some quick web searches, it seems that he enrolled in 1981 but graduated in 1983. 139.57.60.26 (talk) 14:13, 4 March 2011 (UTC)
Height
[edit]How tall is he? I think any good wikipedia profile of a chef will disclose, accurately, his or her height. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.81.36.18 (talk) 05:09, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Cayenne
[edit]Not one mention of cayenne? Cayenne. And a pinch of cayenne. 86.135.158.138 (talk) 22:53, 27 November 2018 (UTC)
Quote
[edit]The quote on the page does not match the reference "held just about every position possible in the food industry" vs "He has held just about every position possible, from dishwasher to chef."— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ockeojoj (talk • contribs)
- Thanks, I've fixed this. --Lord Belbury (talk) 10:54, 2 April 2021 (UTC)
