Death rumour
[edit]Facebook is currently exploding with rumours of his passing, and David Torn is the source. I am unable to find any other confirmation however. Manning (talk) 03:02, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- Just posted a link from a reliable source. PaulCHebert (talk) 04:29, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- You beat me to it. Thanks Manning (talk) 04:51, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
- I don't know how to enter stuff in the infobox -- somebody else will have to. PaulCHebert (talk) 04:54, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

Reclassified as a start
[edit]This article has been reclassified as a start according to Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Assessment. However, it needs more work on citations especially on the discography. Capitalistroadster (talk) 00:26, 24 August 2017 (UTC)
Discography
[edit]That section is getting really long. Is it worth having a separate John Abercrombie discography article? PaulCHebert (talk) 18:54, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- Not a bad idea. I'm still working on it, and there might be more sideman albums to add. I won't know until I compare my lists.
–Vmavanti (talk) 20:48, 31 January 2018 (UTC)
- I've been adding more albums. It is a bit cluttered now. If the discography is split into a separate page there should be a select discography left on the main page. Hummingbird347 (talk) 06:58, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
