Pygmalion, cantata for bass & orchestra, HW18/5
[edit]Please see [1].
I could not find this cantata mentioned in the article. --Yoavd (talk) 10:21, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Look again; it's listed under "Vocal works/Arias, cantatas and incidental music" as "Pygmalion (Wf XVIII:5)". -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:58, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. --Yoavd (talk) 08:01, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Title question
[edit]An article about his Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme should have which title? "(Bach)" would be unique but misleading, but all his given names are long. "(motet)" might work for a while, until we have the next one. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:22, 9 November 2016 (UTC)
Mis-attribution of Harpsichord Concerto recording
[edit]Please see: Talk Page for J.C.Bach Two Concertos, (C minor and G major), listed as “Spurious/Doubtful” in the J.C.F.Bach catalogue, have been definitively shown to be by J.W.Hertel and G.A.Benda, respectively. Mia-attributed to J.C.Bach on a 1960s recording. Doelrich (talk) 22:16, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
