Solar eclipse
[edit]Was this real news or a beat-up?

If real it should be included in the article. If a beat-up it might still warrant a mention as such, due to getting headlines worldwide. —DIV (120.17.145.234 (talk) 04:09, 23 January 2019 (UTC))

Joey Badass → Joey Bada$$ – "Joey Bada$$" is his official stage name and is used much more often than "Joey Badass". Momo824 (talk) 05:30, 24 August 2020 (UTC)—Relisting. 2pou (talk) 16:04, 31 August 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose. A few sources use the dollar signs but a whole lot of major sources do not, for instance The New York Times, XXL magazine, Billboard magazine, Complex and CNN. Only if a large majority of sources were using the dollar signs would I agree to this move. Binksternet (talk) 02:13, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose per MOS:TM: This is a purely decorative stylism that is not followed consistently in independent reliable sources. As far as I can see, the NYT, Complex, and CNN sources listed by Binksternet do not refer to him as "Joey Bada$$". (CNN might appear to do so at first glance, but it's just linking to the artist's video on YouTube, not using the decorative styling in the part written by CNN itself.) —BarrelProof (talk) 19:20, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose — it is a stylization which is discouraged when not used exclusively by sources. cookie monster (2020) 755 23:13, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. This stylization does not belong in the article title. Rreagan007 (talk) 02:52, 1 September 2020 (UTC)
Other artist's song sample in "Controversy" section?
[edit]Does a clip from another artist really belong in this article? The only music sample on the entire page isn't even performed by the subject. I know the song's content is targeted at Joey, but I don't think we need more than a textual explanation of the associated feud. I've half a mind to remove it. However, not wanting to step on any toes, I thought I would raise the question here first. If there are no objections in the next week or so, I'll take it out myself. ~~Mattevt | Hit me up 05:04, 13 August 2022 (UTC)
- After two weeks without opposition, I've gone ahead and removed the sample. If you believe this removal was unwarranted, please feel free to respond here to discuss its re-inclusion. ~~Mattevt | Hit me up 21:10, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
