Use of "Swagger"

[edit]

It doesn't really seem like "swagger" is a very good analogy in this case, and could be misleading. In English, "swagger" refers very specifically to someone with a self-confident or exaggerated manner of moving and acting. You would never say, "I could tell it was Professor Jones from across the quad because of his swagger," unless Professor Jones is known for carrying himself in an aggressive and distinctive way. The word "swagger" would be more appropriate to, say, sports figures, or notorious criminals, or millionaire CEOs, or someone like that - it doesn't refer to everyday people. I think this reference should be removed, as I can't think of a single English word that applies to this concept. The closest I can think of is something like, "overall impression." Sperm and Cum

[edit]

I'm removing the reference to sperm and cum. The fact that there is a disambiguation page for this term negates any need for such a reference. Besides, it was worded unprofessionally and sounded crude.67.141.92.47 (talk) 21:51, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This term needs to be replaced

[edit]

This doesn't really pertain to the article, but I find it hard to believe birders haven't come up with a different name for this concept. Do people really say they got the jizz of this bird or that one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.184.103.35 (talk) 03:52, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"You will usually hear people say this word"
