Jeff Wayne vocals
[edit]The voices in the NASA sequences were not spoken by Jeff, but by his father Jerry. 8 September 2005 213.68.15.100
This is indeed true. I removed the following sentence: "His role in his adaptation of The War of the Worlds went from composer to voice actor, as he put together the entire musical work himself, and played the vocal part of NASA radio men in the final track of the original 1978 release." The Evening Standard Awards are NOT now the Olivier Awards. Both award ceremonies exist independently.
Why is there no year of birth mentioned? 84.3.84.252 11:14, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
BTW Does anyone know, which year he was born?
Did he also record for Wonderland Records?
[edit]I have two albums put out by Wonderland Records, a children's label, in 1975 and 1978 consisting of cover versions of theme songs like Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. One album is credited to "The Jeff Wayne Space Shuttle" while the second is credited to "Wonderland Space Shuttle" but contains half the same recordings as the one credited to Jeff Wayne. Does anyone know if this is the same musician? It would be worth noting in the biography if it is. The two albums were titled Theme from Star Trek and The Planet of the Apes and Theme from Star Wars and both featured a mixture of these covers and 60s-style instrumentals. 68.146.41.232 20:34, 25 October 2007 (UTC)
Date of Birth
[edit]Looking through the page history, it seems as though his date of birth has been changed a number of times without any sources, mostly by anons. Does anyone know his actual birth year?--VectorPotentialTalk 19:04, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
