POV
[edit]After Zoupan added some stuff the article is an accumulation of WP:POV. It says Janjevci are Croats. This is true. Then it says that "anthropologist A. Urošević noted during field study, published in 1935, that many Jan Evans lacked national counsciousness. They spoke a Kosovan dialect, as the Serbs, but called it Janjevan". This smells like old efforts of Serbian historiography to persuade readers Croats are Catholic Serbs or all people who live in Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Montenegro are descendants of Serbs. Somewhere else article says that "according to local tradition, the population moved to its present location from "Old Janjevo" (located between the hills of Borelina and Surnjevica) in c. 1630 due to Albanian zulum (injustice)" and "During the Kosovo War (1998–99), the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) attacked the village". The article gives a Serbian image to town and deemphasizes Albanian and Croat elements and treats them like foreigners. Ktrimi991 (talk) 11:48, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
- flag waving fallacy This is not the first time you use Serbian historiography coatrack article as argument to delete text which does not match your POV even if sources are not authored by Serbs (in this case you removed text cited by Duijzings, Ger (2000). Religion and the Politics of Identity in Kosovo. C. Hurst & Co. Publishers. pp. 43–. ISBN 978-1-85065-431-5.
- Cherry picking fallacy: you only mentioned 1935 field study of Urošević although the text you removed is also cited by:
- Kovačević-Kojić, Desanka (11 July 2007). Gradski život u Srbiji i Bosni (XIV-XV vijek): The Urban Life in Serbia and Bosnia (XIV-XV Century). Istorijski institut. pp. 21–. ISBN 978-86-7743-059-7
- Radovanović, Milovan (2008). Kosovo i Metohija: antropogeografske, istorijskogeografske, demografske i geopolitičke osnove. Službeni Glasnik.
- Duijzings, Ger (2000). Religion and the Politics of Identity in Kosovo. C. Hurst & Co. Publishers. pp. 43–. ISBN 978-1-85065-431-5.
- If you are familiar with reliable sources to refute what above sources say, please present them. Otherwise, the well cited text removed without valid reason should be restored.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 13:39, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
