Social media (Twitter) and politics in lede

[edit]

Woods' politics and social media usage is a significant part of this article and object of a lot of reporting in RS, so per WP:LEDE, I think it needs to be mentioned with a short sentence or two in the lede in order to adequately summarize the article. However, The One I Left disagreed with my edit to that effect, so I'm starting this discussion. Regards SoWhy 15:24, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I fully agree with you and the lead should also this,[1] which demonstrates the magnitude of his political fervor. soibangla (talk) 15:31, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

election misinformation on Twitter

[edit]

Considering all the people tweeting massive amounts of election misinformation on Twitter, I believe the fact Woods was the #1 purveyor is notable for his lead. I recommend this reversion be restored.

Do you have a source on what "misinformation" he said? Did he said the Hunter Biden laptop was disinformation and hide all the bribery evidence on it or something? 113.38.197.41 (talk) 01:16, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Heavy redundancy—why?

[edit]

I couldn't help noticing how top-heavy with redundant career detail this opening section was. (Why bother having a Career section?) Yes, movie stars are glamorous and exciting—but we must control ourselves, IMHO, and remember that in reference works, "less is more". Are there any plans to clean this up so it conforms with more customary WP (and general "encyclopedic") style? – AndyFielding (talk) 19:47, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's because millenials are bad writers. 113.38.197.41 (talk) 01:16, 11 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Soros Hungary

[edit]

On November 20, 1940, Hungary became the fourth member to join the Axis powers, although not entered by Nazis their ally until 1944 to battle Soviets. Entry is misleading. 98.144.229.205 (talk) 02:16, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Personal life category

[edit]

Should his personal life category be placed before his filmography section? That's usually the case with every other page. Traptor12 (talk) 22:49, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Emmy awards

[edit]

I believe he has won 2 Primetime Emmys, for "Promise" and "My Name Is Billy W.", respectively. This page claims that he has won 3 awards. What else did he win for? 181.194.241.103 (talk) 06:01, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I understand now. He won a Daytime Emmy for "Hercules". 181.194.240.157 (talk) 04:06, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
