[edit]- I intend to flesh this article out a bit more, but it's getting late. Fascinating guy. --BrownHornet21 05:12, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
- Is it just me, or is the line spacing kind of strange in a few paragraphs? Any idea on how to fix? --BrownHornet21 18:47, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
Mr. Goldstein in LA and OKC
[edit]I sat one row behind courtside at the Staples center for the Lakers/Thunder game on Tuesday April 20. I saw this man and was wondering who he was. Pretty cool in the black leather. I thought, he is probably just some eccentric LA dude.
I have courtside tics for the Thunder games and then to my surprise, I ran into Mr. Goldstein in the courtside lounge at the Ford Center. I introduced myself and told him I saw him a couple of days earlier in LA. That is when I realized who this person was. Very interesting man. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.229.226.195 (talk) 17:18, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Not even a birthdate?
[edit]What kind of biographic article is this, when there is not even a birthday or place mentioned? --91.64.214.178 (talk) 18:59, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
- I'm going out on a limb here, but what if his birthdate and birthplace are simply not publicly known? If you're a better researcher than the rest of us, feel free to add to the article; that's how the Wikipedia works. :) --37.49.59.225 (talk) 05:14, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- There is a legal obligation to report births in many countries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.123.215.180 (talk) 09:55, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Non-notable
[edit]A guy who inherited money, invested it in real estate, and uses it to go to basketball games and owns 1 well-known architectural property?? NON-NOTABLE PERSON. Unless someone has a good point, I'm going to nominate for deletion in short order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.219.66.84 (talk) 17:18, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
- I totally agree; he doesn't meet WP:N. Please nominate this for WP:PROD Bricology (talk) 08:35, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
- I also agree. The gentleman may be an interesting person, but his accomplishments are not noteworthy. I also would suggest that the WP category of "Sports Spectators" be removed. C. Coleman - 12:39, 4 September 2013 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.79.216.2 (talk)

[edit]Helmut Newton is said to have used the house at some point. Photos show Goldstein in his favourite out-fits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.235.153 (talk) 12:30, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- James F. Goldstein seems to have been born in about 1940. He must have an accent in English.
- His phrases sound American. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.235.153 (talk) 12:48, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- The year 1943 was mentioned. It was then taken out by a possible sock-puppet of Goldstein. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.235.153 (talk) 15:08, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- A $100,000,000 has been mentioned. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.152.235.153 (talk) 15:37, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
- James Goldstein implied that he moved to California for the first time at the age of 18 when he went to Stanford University. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.132.24.29 (talk) 11:49, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Does James Goldstein Fix Matches like johnymaxofficial?
[edit]I believe he was a match fixer and manipulater for NBA who made his fortunate by rigging basketball tournaments as a way of sports investment. 102.140.197.55 (talk) 18:02, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
